Travel grants are available to graduate students attending professional meetings and conferences. Students apply for these grants through their department chair and through the Graduate Student Association. Additionally, through the Wagoner Scholarship for Study Abroad Program graduate students or graduate alumni are eligible to receive funds to support research abroad. The program provides sufficient funds to allow a student to conduct research abroad for up to a year.
If you are traveling internationally, you should sign up for International SOS. International SOS is a Rice-sponsored service for faculty, students and staff engaged in international travel.
