Ambassadors Portal

Rice's Graduate Student Ambassadors are advanced graduate students who promote visibility and recruiting efforts for Rice's programs. Ambassadors support and connect with prospective students in a number of ways, and work closely with their sponsor, the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

About the Ambassadors

The Rice Graduate Student Ambassadors first convened in 2021. The mission of the ambassadors is to connect prospective students with Rice and to provide guidance and expertise to the university. The group operates out of the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Dean Seiichi Matsuda is the faculty sponsor, and Jennifer Hunter is the staff contact for the group. Ambassador nominations are solicited yearly during the summer months. For questions, please email gradambassadors@rice.edu.
