Why I decided to go to grad school:

As a first-generation college student, my main goal is to be the first girl in my family to earn a doctoral degree and to be able to freely pursue graduate studies and constantly improve my scholarly potential.

Fun fact about me:

In a few years, my birthday will be on Friday 13th, but the 13th is my lucky day.

The most beautiful campus, friendly environment, and the quality of the classes at RiceU

Favorite thing about Houston:

I love H-town since I came to the US. The weather in this city is the most similar to my home city in South Vietnam.
