Candidacy & Defense Overview

The deadline to submit theses for December 2020 degree conferral is noon on Friday, December 4. Be sure to upload your signed title page before submitting your thesis.

COVID-19 Change: In the event that a thesis committee must change from what was previously approved, please confer with your graduate program administrator as soon as possible prior to your defense, and follow the instructions in section B here. The committee must still adhere all of the existing rules for composition in the General Announcements and all changes must be approved by your Department Chair or DGS as well as Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
