Consultations
CTE faculty are available to consult on a wide variety of topics, including classroom instruction and pedagogy, assessment and evaluation, course and curriculum design, and pedagogical research projects. In accordance with best practices for educational development set forth by the Professional and Organizational Development Network, the CTE maintains confidentiality for all consultations. Graduate Instructor of Record Training
Graduate and post-doctoral students who will be responsible for teaching their own course at Rice may enroll in our asynchronous, self-paced training through Canvas.

Graduate Workshop Series
The CTE hosts interactive workshops on a variety of teaching and learning topics. These workshops focus on foundational pedagogical knowledge and skills, and provide a space to reflect on and discuss teaching and learning. Click here to view this year's workshop topics and dates.

Reading Group
Each semester, the CTE leads a Reading Group on an important book in the field of teaching and learning. The Reading Group is open to all faculty, staff, and graduate students at Rice and is a terrific chance to discuss research on teaching with colleagues from many disciplines.
