This is what someone receives when they have enquired about graduate study at Rice but have not told us which program they are considering. It carries no program-specific content, so every reader in this group sees the same email.

November Ask the people who already did it. Current students can tell you what a program is like. Alumni can tell you where it led. This month you can talk to both, and see how Rice supports the students it admits. Book a coffee chat Find your program

Two People Worth Asking The part no website can tell you [Preferred name], our ambassadors volunteered for this role because they are passionate about Rice and want to share their experiences.

Current Ph.D. Student Maranda J. My favorite thing about Rice is how close knit the community is. While there are lots of opportunities at Rice, it has a comparatively small graduate population, making it easy to get connected within your department and the broader campus community. Meet current students at a coffee chat Master's Graduate, 2026 Bori L. What I really loved about Rice University was the unique combination of academic excellence and a strong sense of community. Rice is one of the most prestigious universities in the United States, while at the same time placing great emphasis on kindness, collaboration, and community. Meet alumni at an upcoming event
