Brandy is a graduate student support specialist in the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, providing confidential guidance and assistance for graduate students at Rice. She is a staff associate at Duncan College, where she and her husband Caleb served as head resident fellows from 2012 to 2015 and college magisters from 2015 to 2020.

Brandy received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in political science from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching (secondary social studies) from Johns Hopkins University. She enjoys reading, volunteering in public schools, and watching baseball with her family.
