Carolyn (Carly) Graverson is a proud alumna of Rice University, graduating with her PhD in chemistry in December 2025. During her time at Rice, Carly was deeply involved in the graduate student community, serving as a graduate ambassador, Chemistry Graduate Student Association officer, mentor, teaching assistant, and leader in several graduate student organizations. She chose Rice in part because of its strong sense of community, where collaboration mattered just as much as high-level research. Prior to attending Rice, Carly earned a B.S. in chemistry from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, USA.

Currently, Carly is a Senior Associate for Chemistry at SC Johnson where she works on developing pest control products. In her free time, Carly enjoys running, cooking, reading, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
