Luis Adrian Chipana Yucra is an Energy Market Analyst from Bolivia with a background in Petroleum Engineering with a master’s degree in Reservoirs and Environment, and a Master of Energy Economics from Rice University. His professional experience spans energy markets, upstream & downstream operations, and energy-sector modeling, including work with Energy Exemplar, where he applied analytical and modeling tools to support energy market studies and decision-making. As a Fulbright scholar at Rice, Luis developed a strong interest in the intersection of energy, engineering, economics, technology, and sustainable development. He is passionate about sharing his experience with prospective students, and helping them understand the academic, professional, and personal opportunities that Rice University can offer.
