Cashier’s Office

This is where you pay tuition, fees, insurance, fines, etc.  You can also cash checks (see their staff for guidelines) by presenting your student identification.

Center for Career Development

This office offers post-graduation planning resources, communication development tools, and employment search resources.  

Disability Support Services

Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies

Parking Office

This office will also issue parking permits and register vehicles.  Bring your student I.D., and be sure to register for your courses before attempting to register your vehicle. You may also register online at: parking.rice.edu

This is where you can obtain tax information (W-4 and I-9), sign up for direct deposit and obtain time sheets if you are working a campus job.  A mail drop is available for any before or after hours mail.

Police Department (RUPD)

In order to obtain your student I.D. card, RUPD will accept anything that has your student identification number listed (memo on department letterhead, your paid statement, etc.) along with a pictured drivers license and/or passport. Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center (Gymnasium)

The Recreation Center offers intramural, fitness, aquatics, dance, and club activities.Membership information is available via their website.

Registrar’s Office

This is where you go if you have problems with your Esther account or when you need to submit an Esther Special Registration Request Form.

Rice Memorial Center and Ley Student Center

The Rice Student Center provides facilities, resources, events, and services that enrich the social & educational development while allowing for the self-directed engagement of the Rice Community Members and university visitors.

Student Health Services

The Rice Student Health Services provides preventive and outpatient clinical care for the students of Rice University. Student Health is located on-campus and is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of undergraduate and graduate students who have paid the Student Health Fee.This office will handle your Health Data Form.

The Wellbeing and Counseling Center is a good first point of contact for students who want to talk to someone about solutions to their wellbeing concerns. They host a variety of workshops and programs to promote student wellbeing. Additionally, confidential consultations and short term counseling is available to all currently enrolled Rice graduate and undergraduate students who have paid the Student Health fee.
