Allen comes from Taiwan, where he obtained both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biomedical Science and Environmental Biology from Kaohsiung Medical University. Prior to joining Rice University, he served as a Research Assistant at the National Taiwan University Hospital and as a Research Technologist at Boston Children's Hospital. Currently, he is in his second year as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Bioengineering.
Fun Fact:
I like to play table tennis (ping-pong), tennis and badminton. (Trying to get the habits...)
