Why did you decide to go to grad school?
While my undergraduate degree gave me a strong foundation for thinking sociologically, I realized I wanted to develop more specialized methodological skills and hone in on the specific areas of research that were of interest to me. Graduate school felt like the right next step because it would allow me to continue doing research, refine my interests, and contribute something original to the field rather than just learning about it.
