Starting a doctoral program is exciting — and overwhelming. That’s why Rice University's Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies created Thrive at Rice, a program designed to support first-year doctoral students as they transition into graduate life.
Through community-building events, peer mentorship and honest conversations about the challenges of grad school, Thrive helps students connect across disciplines, discover campus resources and build a foundation for success — academically, socially and personally.
