I am from Mexico City. I got my Bachelor’s in Actuarial Sciences from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and my M.Sc. in Economics from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas. I am a 4th-year PhD student in Finance, and my research interests focus on macrofinance and household finance.
In my free time, I enjoy going to rock concerts or festivals, listening to music, dancing salsa, and hanging out with friends. What I like most about Rice is the tight-knit community and the opportunity to meet people from different cultures. What I like most about Houston is its gastronomic offer, derived from the large number of cultures that live here, this is reflected in the variety of restaurants and places to eat. One important aspect to consider from Houston is to be prepared for the weather in summer!!!
