Franklin is a second-year student in the Biochemistry and Cell Biology doctoral program. He conducts research in the Kirienko Lab, where he investigates the role of novel small molecules that activate mitophagy in the context of neurodegenerative diseases.

Outside of the lab, Franklin enjoys baking, singing, and catching a show at the Hobby Center!
