Haerin Jung is a PhD student in Art History at Rice University. She studies American abstract art from the mid-twentieth century, with a particular interest in the works and lived experiences of Asian American and Asian diasporic artists.

Before coming to Rice, she earned her MA in Art History from Seoul National University and worked at several art museums in Seoul. She loves traveling, walking, and going to museums.
