Naana Effe is a second-year PhD student in the Sociology department. Her research is focused on contemporary Ghanaian society through the lens of relationships and marriage.

She is from Accra, Ghana, and moved to the U.S to pursue her graduate studies. Outside of research, Naana Effe likes to read, color, and listen to music and podcasts.
