About Me:

I am from Mexico City. I received my bachelor's in actuarial sciences from UNAM and my M.Sc. in Economics from CIDE. I am pursuing a PhD in Finance and my research interests focus on asset pricing models and macrofinance.

In my free time I enjoy discovering new places to eat, tasting wine, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy watching football games, especially Champions League matches.

On Rice and Houston:

What I like the most about Houston and Rice is the cultural diversity both in the city and on campus.

On Thrive:

I enjoy being a part of Thrive as it allows me to help 1st year students get used to the life at Rice and the amazing interactions with people from different backgrounds.

Fun Fact:

I used to play the guitar during high school and even formed a rock band with some friends.
