As 2022-2023 president of the Graduate Student Association, Moore advocates for all graduate students on campus and says he appreciates the support Rice gives him in this role.

"Rice as an institution has allowed me to find myself and my passions with the research I do and the advocacy that I pursue,” he shared. “Grad student life has been a mixture of challenging but also some of the best times I’ve ever had.”

As a native Houstonian, Moore says he appreciates getting to rediscover Houston through his time at Rice. "I’ve made a lot of great friends, gotten involved in a lot of outreach on campus and around the city of Houston, and I’ve also gotten to explore the city as an adult, and it’s been one of the best experiences."
