Bio:

I am a discrimination researcher that is extremely interested in the intersection of identities, perceptions of discrimination, and stressful interactions in organizations. I have been at Rice University since 2019 where I was a student-athlete on the Track and Field team, a lab manager for a Diversity lab, a tour guide, and now a Ph.D. student. As much as I love my work, I also love my hobbies which include keeping up with everything related to Formula 1, boxing, traveling, and listening/making music.

Why did you decide to go to grad school?

I felt like the most eye opening and formative years of my life was college, specifically the classes that touched topics that were uncomfortable for most. I wanted to be professor and create a safe space to bee curious about some of the hardest most complex topics.
