My name is Autumn Bruncz (she/her) and I am a 2nd year Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville where I graduated with a bachelors of science in physics. While studying for my undergraduate degree, I took interest in optical physics and chemistry.

I love horror movies and even took a class on them in undergrad

Its easy to make yourself at home at Rice. There's a space for everyone here and its easy to find great friends with similar interests or research fields.

Favorite thing about Houston:

The food is my favorite thing about Houston, especially the variety of options that are available

Why did you decide to go to graduate school?

I decided to go to grad school to explore my scientific interest and to pursue long term research endeavors
