Nicole Malveaux is a proud native Houstonian. Nicole attended Fisk University where she received a B.A. in English, and she taught secondary American and British Literature for several years.
She holds Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University where she was a Cal Turner Fellow and a recipient of the Umphrey Lee Dean’s Award. Prior to coming to Rice University, she worked at Vanderbilt University. Nicole loves mentoring and collaborating with students to help enhance their academic experience.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys traveling, playing video games, collecting sneakers, and watching art house films. She is an avid photographer, enjoys writing short stories, and is a voracious reader.
