Belinda handles stipends, graduate student payroll, tuition waivers, fellowships, medical insurance subsidies, reduced rate tuition, and away status. She began working at Rice in November of 2007 in the Cashier’s office as the Asst. Cashier of Information and Management Systems. She became the Associate University Cashier in May of 2013. Her business sense is more in the field of bookkeeping, auditing and data entry. When the position of Financial Aid & Systems Manager arose in the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, she jumped at the opportunity. She said, "I have had the pleasure of working with this delightful group of people since September of 2017."

Belinda dated her husband for one month, he proposed and they got married four months later. They celebrated 43 years of marriage in 2020 and still counting. She has three wonderful sons with four beautiful grandchildren (so far!). She loves doing crafts, going on motorcycle rides with family and friends, taking camping trips in her 5th wheel RV, collecting fossil shark teeth & sea glass on the beach. She loves all music and her favorite movies are anything on the Hallmark channel, and her favorite time of year is Christmas!

She looks forward to one day traveling in her RV all across the great states in the U.S.A. with her husband and an English Teddybear Doodle, Madi.
