My name is Jason Uwaeze and I am a 1st year Computer Science PhD Student working with Dr. Vladimir Braverman. My research interests includes computer vision, radiomcs, and creating solutions that enable radiologist to be more accurate and efficient. Before coming to Rice I received my Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2021 and have worked as an AI Research Intern @ IBM TJ Watson Research Center and a Software Developer @ PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). I grew up in Austin, TX but have also lived Dallas, New York City, San Francisco, and now Houston. My favorite thing to do on my free time is to watch shows and movies!

Why I decided to go to grad school:

To become a researcher and to solve healthcare related problems.

Born in San Francisco, CA I was adopted into a Nigerian Household when I was 2 years old.
