Natalie was born and raised in Accra, Ghana, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Ghana. Currently, she is a PhD student in the Computer Science Department, where her research focuses on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Natalie loves dogs and plays tennis. In the summer, she loves to swim and eat lots of ice cream.

Why I decided to go to grad school:

My future goal is to have a career in academia and to teach at some point in my life. So, I chose grad school to gain more knowledge and expertise in my field of interest: Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Moreover, to enjoy student life a bit more.

Fun fact about me:

I love to play board games (Monopoly and Scrabble). I love taking walks.

The trees and beautiful outdoor learning spots.

The diversity in food options is amazing.
