As a GPS Pathways Program Advisor in the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, Vanessa supports graduate students at Rice University through a variety of programming for the GPS Pathways Program.

Vanessa is a recent Rice University graduate where she received her Ph.D. in Chemistry in July 2022. Prior to joining Rice, she received bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Physics from Texas Lutheran University

She loves to play soccer, hang out with her pups, and travel. So far, her favorite vacation destination is Germany, specifically in the wintertime!
