What are you studying: Ph.D in Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience

Fernanda Morales (she/her) was born and raised in Mexico City. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Universidad Iberoamericana Mexico City. She completed a Master of Science in Clinical Neuroscience at University College London, where she studied viral vectors as a treatment for Epilepsy. Fernanda is a third year Doctoral Student in Cognitive & Affective Neuroscience in the Department of Psychological Sciences. She works at the Neuroscience of Memory, Mood, & Aging Lab, where she studies episodic memory performance and the internal and external factors that affect it. When not working, Fernanda loves reading, playing board games, and finding new spots to eat around the city.
