Why I decided to go to grad school:

I discovered my passion for research as an undergraduate student and I knew that I wanted to continue learning, discovering, exploring, and writing! Graduate school has allowed me to pursue fascinating research topics and actively cultivate knowledge.

Fun fact about me:

I played the cello in a quartet and we did street performances, played at events, and received the highest distinction at a state competition!

Favorite thing about Rice:

The community and collaborative environment!

Favorite thing about Houston:

Buffalo Bayou!
