Yingru Song is from China. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2018 with a B.S. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Currently he works as a PhD student in the NHTL group under Dr. Geoff Wehmeyer in Mechanical Engineering department. His research interests include nano-scale energy transport using both numerical and experimental tools. Yingru is a member of RCSSA (Rice Chinese Student and Scholars Association) since 2019, and he serves as the graduate president in 2020-2021.
