Yoon Jung (Jenny) Kwon is a doctoral candidate in the Strategic Management department of the Jones Graduate School of Business.

Jenny was born in Seoul, South Korea. She was exposed to multicultural settings since she was young, living in numerous places including Tokyo (Japan), Hawaii, and Pennsylvania in the United States.

Jenny received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Korea University located in Seoul, South Korea. During her undergraduate years, she was part of a study abroad program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and also worked as a Research Analyst in the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Upon graduation in 2017, she joined Rice University as a doctoral student. Her current research revolves around interests in innovation and entrepreneurship, specifically on how firms strategically acquire and manage knowledge resources to generate a competitive advantage and enhance firm performance. She is also a member of the Korean Graduate Student Association (KGSA) at Rice, where she served as the treasurer in 2020-21 and is serving as the vice president in 2021-22.
