Graduate Tuition Remission

Tuition remission returns will be split 90/10 between the Schools and Central for all external funding.

All internal funds will be returned 100% to the units at year-end.

Training Grants

Training grants will follow actual tuition awards (a change from the previous practice of returning amounts based on graduate student pay); training grant funds are to follow the award-owning organization.

Interdisciplinary Programs

When students are aligned to interdisciplinary programs housed in the Office of Research, tuition remission will be split to help cover the costs incurred by the Schools involved as well as the Office of Research.
