Welcome & Mission
The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies' Pathways Program is a comprehensive orientation program for first-year doctoral students from diverse backgrounds. The program seeks to provide clarity and connection related to available university resources, and provide mentorship to equip students to excel in their academic pursuits, and beyond.
The program will provide multiple opportunities for Pathways Scholars to visit key offices on campus, and interface with department, school and university leadership.
The GPS Pathways Program acknowledges and affirms the unique challenges faced by its cohort through cross-disciplinary, community-based programming. It provides an inclusive space to empower and equip its members to thrive in every facet of their graduate careers.
We intend for this program to enhance the graduate student experience, and further diversity in higher education.
