Before coming to Rice I received my Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2021 and have worked as an AI Researcher @ IBM TJ Watson Research Center and a Software Developer @ PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). I grew up in Austin, TX but have also lived Dallas, New York City, San Francisco, and now Houston. My favorite thing to do on my free time is to watch shows and movies!

Affinity and student group affiliations: BGSA and Rice Photography Club

Fun fact about you:

I was adopted into a Nigerian-American Household at a very young age. As a result, my first cousin is 30 years older than me and I am technically the first Nigerian American in my family.

Favorite thing about Rice:

The people here are really cool and diverse. I think it would be really hard to NOT find like-minded people here at Rice.

Favorite thing about Houston:

Food trucks @ Rice Village & Westheimer to name a few. Herman Park is also a nice place to hangout or go for a run.

Why did you decide to go to grad school?

To become a researcher and to solve healthcare related problems.
