All Rice University graduate students are expected to abide by the policies governed by the documents below. All Rice University policies can be found at policy.rice.edu.

Rice University’s ethics hotline is a great resource for members of the Rice community who have observed or experienced improper behavior to voice their concerns or ask questions. Reports can be made confidentially or anonymously by phone (866-294-4633) or online through Rice’s contracted vendor, EthicsPoint.

The General Announcements (GA) are Rice's official catalog of courses, degrees, policies, and curricular requirements. In the event that there is a discrepancy between the GA and any other website or publication, the GA shall prevail as the authoritative source.
